We performed a methodical delay analysis using industry-recognized forensic techniques, including as-built vs. as-planned and critical path assessments. The report was prepared to meet arbitral standards, ensuring transparency, neutrality, and clarity. We Also collaborated closely with the legal team to align technical findings with the overall legal strategy.

Outcome

The Panel of Arbitrators adopted our conclusions in full. The contractor’s claims for time and cost were dismissed entirely, and the award was issued in favor of the owner— delivering a complete success in the arbitration proceedings.

Arbitration – Residential Building

In this case, the owner of a residential building was the respondent in an arbitration initiated by the main contractor. The contractor sought an extension of time and associated costs, while the owner counterclaimed for liquidated damages due to significant project delays.

Our Role

We were appointed by the owner as an independent delay expert witness for the arbitration proceedings. Our team conducted a detailed delay analysis and prepared a comprehensive expert report, which was submitted as part of the owner’s defense. Our

expert was also cross-examined by the claimant’s counsel during the arbitration hearings.
